Americas White Table

America's White Table

Raven, Margot Theis

Katie and her sisters set out a white table for dinner to honor their Uncle John, who is a veteran. White tables are set in many mess halls as a symbol of fallen service members. Uncle John explains that a soldier risks his life for a fellow soldier “because the best of your country lives in every man and woman who would lay down their life for you too.”
